Burnt-Carbon journey began in 2022 when I left the corporate world and embarked on my true passion for bringing people together over exceptional food and unforgettable moments. I’ve always loved cooking and barbequeing, constantly preparing high-quality dishes for my friends and family, who often praised my culinary creations. I’m Martyn, founder and CEO of Burnt-Carbon. I moved to the UAE in early 2016, first settling in Abu Dhabi before relocating to Dubai for work. With a background in IT within Financial Services, I was doing well, but life called for a change. That’s when Burnt-Carbon was born. Drawing on my thermodynamics knowledge from the University of Coventry, I set out to improve kamados while reflecting the UAE’s incredible lifestyle, people, and style—values that define Burnt-Carbon.

Our company is small, me and a handful of team members, but that is not going to stop us. We are dreaming big, and right now, we are channelling all our energy into bringing stunning designs to our precision made grills.
